Womenʼs lives have transformed in most areas. Yet the knowledge of and care for the health of women and other people with vulvas is inadequate and fragmented.
We at Sisko have experienced many women’s health issues. Just to give you a few examples:
- severe period pain affecting studies and professional life
- several miscarriages without any examination into the reasons
- serious postpartum issues such as abdominal hernia and diastasis recti
